Short British getaway

We gave two concerts in the UK. For the first time, we performed in Norwich and what a wonderful day concluded with a full-house concert it was! We feel honoured that we could play the 600th concert of the series the amazing Roger Rowe launched already in 1997! And big big thank you also to Christine Ferris who kindly let us stay in her lovely house with and really made us feel at home.

By the way, the very first concert of the series was given by the Janáček Quartet and since then, several Czech ensembles have performed here – we were really happy to keep the tradition up!

After that, we travelled to London and played a special concert at the Czech Embassy. It was nice to meet locals as well as Czechs living in London who were happy to listen to live Czech music. It has been a short but lovely trip to the UK, as always. Looking forward to come back soon!
