We are the laureates of the Joseph Joachim Chamber Music Competition in Weimar!

We are delighted to share that we won the 2nd prize at the International Joseph Joachim Chamber Music Competition in Weimar!

While the 1st prize was not awarded, we shared the 2nd prize with another Czech ensemble Trio Bohémo. Trio Pantoum from France claimed the third prize. Apart from the 2nd prize, we also received the Special Prize for the best performance of an Early Classic work for our performance of Joseph Haydn’s Trio in C major, Hob. XV:27

We are supper happy about this as the competition was one of the most challenging we have ever been to, as we had to prepare more than 3 hours of music. It felt really great on stage throughout the competition, as the local audience in Weimar was very supportive.

You can listen to some of our performances during the competition on our YouTube channel!
